Back Office Support Services is an administrative and financial specialist supporting the recruitment agency industry
When we started Back Office Support Services way back in 1998, we wanted to help recruitment agencies of all shapes and sizes prosper and grow. But we also wanted to make sure we did it the right way – so we drew up a set of core values, which we still work to today.
Since then those values have helped hundreds of recruiters to build successful and profitable agencies. We have grown a bit ourselves and now employ over 40 people in our Head Office in Congleton, Cheshire. As a team we’ve built long-term relationships with agencies who trust us completely to take care of their administrative, financial and legal responsibilities. We’re all fanatical about providing a level of customer service that keeps our agency partners and their clients 100% happy.

At Back Office, we have a strong belief in transparency so our service does not contain any hidden charges. This includes no minimum annual fee, no concentration restrictions and no set-up fees. Our fee is simply based on your pre VAT sales revenue.
We only work with recruitment agencies and quite a few members of the Back Office team come from a recruitment background so we know all too well how exciting and rewarding the industry is and we work with start ups and more established agencies who may be looking to switch providers.

One of the original concepts behind TEAM when it was formed in 1994 was to create a network of recruiters who could share business opportunities. Every day, Members come together to collaborate on roles and share candidates on the TEAM Xchange split-fee functionality which is part of the TEAM Hub.

Kwabena Amaning started Third Nexus and joined TEAM under restrictive covenant on his 1st Monday of trading. On Tuesday he saw a job on TEAM Xchange he thought he could fill with a candidate (not being able to target any of his previous clients for 6 months). On Wednesday he submitted the candidate to the job owning TEAM member. The candidate got an online interview Thursday and an offer Friday which he accepted. On Monday Kwabena invoiced £3750. In his 1st 4 months in TEAM he filled 5 more roles for other TEAM members and invoiced a total of £25,000.
Sarah Bishop met Kerry Greenland ( 2 Solo recruiters) at our TEAM conference in 2018 and they promised to work together in the future. In April 2020 when the world had stopped working Sarah won a new contract with a new business managing Covid testing. She contacted Kerry and said "Help! I need to fill over 100 new jobs!" Over the next 12 months Kerry found 140 successful candidates and they both shared £500k fees from the very satisfied client.
The success of the TEAM community is built on trust and collaboration. Every member signs acceptance of our Code of Conduct and adopts our guidelines for job sharing on TEAM Xchange. Any problems with disagreements or misunderstandings can be resolved through TEAM HQ mediation. In the last 3 years we have only had 2 of these issues to resolve satisfactorily.
TEAM is not for everyone; it suits a certain type of open minded recruiter willing to share ideas, challenges and jobs.

TEAM culture is unique in the industry.
